We have received many inquiries about the resumption of Masses with the physical presence of the faithful and wanted to share the guidelines we have received from the Archdiocese of Baltimore in light of Governor Hogan's most recent address:
The only Masses in which the faithful may be physically present in Phase I are weddings and funerals. These Masses must continue to follow the rule of less than ten people in attendance, to include musicians and the priest.
The video below will give an idea of what to expect when we are finally able to return to public Masses. Please understand that this is not meant to capture every single element of the guidelines, but to prepare us for the changes we will experience. Also, please note that this will not be a reality until Phase II. The restrictions that the State will enforce based on attendance and/or percentage of capacity at Masses in Phase II will drive some of the decisions pastors will need to make regarding access to Mass, meaning Mass attendance will likely look different at each parish.
We will keep you informed of any changes and of our specific plans as they become available. In the meantime, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve you and to worship virtually via our many live streams. Thank you for keeping us in prayer, and know that we pray daily for all of you.
